Service Part Warranty - The warranty for Toyota Genuine Parts purchased and installed by an authorized Dealer on the applicable Toyota or Lexus model vehicle, is 12 months, regardless of mileage, from the install date or the remainder of any applicable New Vehicle Limited Warranty, whichever provides greater coverage. Parts Purchases - With the exception of 12V batteries, Toyota Genuine Parts purchased over-the-counter or online from an authorized Toyota Dealer, but installed by a third party on the applicable Toyota or Lexus model vehicle, carry a 12-month parts only warranty from the date of purchase. Toyota Genuine Parts are defined as all Toyota parts and accessories that are either manufactured or specifically approved by Toyota Motor Corporation and sold by TMS or its authorized Private Distributors to authorized Dealers. This warranty applies to new or remanufactured parts which are Toyota Genuine Parts.

4-Way ConnectorsĤ-Way connectors are available allowing the basic hookup of the three lighting functions (running, turn, and brake) plus one pin is provided for a ground wire.Toyota* warrants that it will either provide a replacement part or repair any Toyota part or accessory that is defective in material or workmanship. Not only will it display a clean look, but a mount is helpful in avoiding the potential problems associated with leaving a connector dangling. Also, mount the connector on the vehicle. Choose a connector that has the required number of pins for the functions required. Various connectors are available from four to seven pins to allow for the transfer of power for the lighting as well as auxiliary functions such as electric trailer brake control, backup lights, etc.

Hardwiring requires the installer to locate the proper wires in the tow vehicle. The T-One Connector is pre-wired to a 4-pole flat that can adapt to a 6 or 7 way round connector. This is accomplished through either a T-One connector (if available for your vehicle) or through hardwiring. To provide the power and a hook-up for these, the tow vehicle’s wires are tapped into. Trailers are required to have at least running lights, turn signals and brake lights.
